SoundCloud app on android shares the track with a specific short URL e.g: https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/WQpB

When I click on a link on mastodon (in Tusky) which is shared via SoundCloud android app, it is opened directly in Firefox.

How will you/everyone benefit from this feature?

The link could be opened in newpipe directly.
