Thanks for reporting. Please provide the following additional information:

Which operating system do you use?
Which locale/language settings do you use in your OS?
How did you obtain (each version of) TeXworks?
Please provide a minimal example showing the issue (in particular the path you use, ideally also the .tex and .synctex* files)
