I'm not a fan of my app tracking my own activities, even if it's only a timestamp. Technically it's in the same category as play count and skip count. Why would anyone want algorithmic feeds for music they collected themselves?

I propose an alternative: instead of tracking when was a track added, All newly added tracks will be automatically added to a playlist (and it's up to the user to manually remove those tracks from said playlist). How does that sound?

I mean, the exact feature you described (with the ability to filter by date) would require tracking the date when the app first sees each track. The alternative I proposed should also accomplishes what you actually want, without having to store that information.

Added option to sort by date added in https://github.com/TJYSunset/Phocid/releases/tag/v20241211, which should satisfy your needs?

I'll leave this open so other people can vote on this feature if they still think this is necessary.
