Even when #2 is not happening, gamepads can't be used to navigate webapps, which is a shame.

  • Chrome's GamepadAPI does not seem to work in WebOS 4.x on my TV.
  • Maybe using a service to passthrough /dev/input/ and remap it to keyboard event could be a workaround.
