I attended the official briefing for the Innovate UK Create Growth Programme that I learned about week before last at the Dubrek event.

They spoke a lot about "additionality" and the need to show that in applications. Other stuff to show in applications:

• Passion
• how the money will move the needle on your business to scale and grow
• they must be able to understand the story of the business and what we want to achieve
• let them under the skin of the business
• how is it innovative? value for money? additional to existing business? game changing for our business?

We are also allowed to apply for funding from Creative Catalyst. I don't know what that is yet so will add it to the ongoing Grant Funding issue #26.
