Spring Compiler and runtime errors

When compiling you at some point will get some errors.
Here are a few examples of which errors you might encounter, and how to solve them.

Compilor errors

2 applications running at the same port

APPLICATION FAILED TO START
***************************

Description:

The Tomcat connector configured to listen on port 8080 failed to start. The port may already be in use or the connector may be misconfigured.

Action:

Verify the connector's configuration, identify and stop any process that's listening on port 8080, or configure this application to listen on another port.

Problem: You have another application running on the same port.
Solution: turn off the other application.

Runtime errors

Solution: Remove the <meta charset="UTF-8"> on line 4 in your html file. Or make sure that you html file is in the xhtml style (not html5)
