[BUG] User controller templates not appearing in steam deck template dropdown options

I cannot for the life of me get my controller templates to show up in steam-rom-manager. I am on steam deck and made a controller template named "Retroarch (SRM)" to use for all of my Retroarch parsers. I expected this to be an option in the Steam Deck Template select input when creating/editing a parser, but I still only get the defaults, even after running Re-fetch Controller Templates. Anything I could be missing?
