XHTML error

[GoogleCodeExporter]

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Rename demo.html demo.xhtml
2. In the dialog, click the insert images icon
3. Use the French locale file. Rinse and repeat.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected to see image dialogue. Saw a greyed out page. Page was unresponsive 
until reloaded.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Linux 14.04

Please provide any additional information below.

The following two files need to be changed to support xhtml: Markdown.Editor.js 
and Markdown.local.fr.js
