The movie titles are shown in capital but the special characters are not.

Example:
LES MISéRABLES

I asume this character is missing in the font itself.

The font contains the character. I'm still looking into it but it appears to be a bug in XBMC itself when the font's style tag is set to uppercase.

It might be something to do with keeping the correct height?
I've seen the similar behavior with ÅÄÖ, they've been squeezed to fit, if you look at ÅAÄ the As line up but in XBMC the ÅÄ is squeezed so that the top of the ring or umlaut matches the top of the A. (For me this isn't much of an issue though, sure looks a bit weird but I don't really mind)
