The list of acronyms in Appendix A was almost certainly excellent in 2001, when RFC 3113 was published.

The list as published includes

  • 3GPP TSG names that have changed (CN, T, maybe GERAN)
  • UTRAN isn't the leading radio technology now. What level of detail is useful? 4G/5G/6G?

Although IAB Administrative Support Groups can come and go, we MIGHT want to add IETF-3GPP to the list
