Calibration on MacOS #120
Comments
@chillee151 it's on the global menu bar(the one has Apple menu) |
Thank you @SoftFever but I still can't seem to locate it in the menu bar |
@chillee151 are you on V1.4.1, works fine on my Mac M1 |
Works for me after a restart. |
Indeed, I had to close and open the App 2 times or so, thereafter the calibration tab appeared (iMac 11.7.2) |
Indeed it showed up after a restart. Thanks for the help. Not sure why it didn't appear at first. |
It seems that Calibration menu disappears if you log in to your Bambu Labs account (and if you were logged in already, it disappears right at the app start, in a few seconds) |
I have an iMac here. When I start the app, I am already logged in and the calibration menu appears and stays. When I log out, yes, then it disappears and does not come back when I log in again. I close and reopen the app and it is back. |
Thanks for all the reports. This issue only happens on some Mac machines. So this kind of information is important to track this issue. |
14.1 14.2 |
@SoftFever macbook16 2019 (intel i9), 13.1 Beta (22C5050e). For me, Calibration menu always visible when logged out of Bambu account (after app restart) and always invisible when logged in (immediately) |
thank you. i was able to replicate this. softfever 14.2 app started with account logged in - calibration menu disappear |
I have an iMac here (15,1 - Intel with OSX 11.7.3) - my experience is different
Do you have an Intel or ARM type of Mac (I assume you have installed the correct version of this software?) |
@Manfredo1952 intel. But I may have found out what was causing the difference: calibration menu only disappears on start when profile sync is turned off for Bambu account. When it is on, restarting the app helps indeed. |
Hi guys, Can you try this latest build? |
The fix seems to work for me on an M1! THank you @SoftFever |
Everything seem to work fine for me with that new build. Thank you! |
I have a 2016 MacBook Pro, Intel running OS X 13.3. I've just run a calibration test twice and the filament profile disappears when I close Orca. the second time I did the profile, I made double sure I saved it, made sure it appeared in user profile and closed, reopened and it's not there. I'm trying to create a profile for a Creality Printer if that makes any difference? Do I have to sign in on my Bambu profile? |
@Alsidy this is probably worth opening a separate issue for. I might suggest having a look in the following path to see if the filament file is actually being saved, though: |
Hey, @Manfredo1952, it's been almost a year since you reported problems with the disappearing menus. Is this still happening? |
Orca bot: this issue is stale because it has been open for 90 days with no activity. |
Orca bot: This issue was closed because it has been inactive for 7 days since being marked as stale. |
In the calibration wiki article, the calibration tab is above the main window on a PC. Unfortunately, I see no calibration option at all on a mac. Is there a way to enable it? Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the feature, but I can't find it anywhere.
