Based on #62 it looks like xmr-node-proxy can be used on an ETN pool running nodejs-pool.

I've set my config to mine to nodejs-pool electroneum.hashvault.pro returns 'bad share from miner x'

Config appears correct, receives new block template from pool.electroneum.hashvault.pro

No valid shares sent to the pool

Trying to clarify if this is an expected limitation
