this is not a smart rss bug, but perhaps there's a solution on the extension developer side

in FF 105 something was changed regarding security that affects extensions apparently - i thought the culprit was pref("extensions.content_web_accessible.enabled", false); but it is not

if i load moz-extension://<blahblah>/rss.html and bookmark it, i can load the ext. from the bookmark - great - but if add that link to my new tab page (which is like a text editor more or less), then i cannot load the ext.

Security Error: Content at moz-extension://<blahblah>/newTab/newTab.html may not load or link to moz-extension://<blahblah>/rss.html.

I'll try defining the page as a web accessible resource, though I'm not sure if just opening it will work properly, I remember the process started by clicking the toolbar button was more complex in the past and simply navigating to the reader page would misbehave. Quick tests seem like it's fine now, but honestly I don't remember fixing it so I recommend caution when using it this way
