Sometimes I want to include a block/list-item into the hierarchy. For example in daily notes I might write some text that slots nicely into my hierarchy but doesn't warrant its own note. A more specific example is if I have a note for [[Things to do]] and I then have a list item which I want to point up to that note so that this list item appears in the hierarchy as a "down" item for that note. Its a more granular way of working with the hierarchy, that would make a lot of sense to my workflow.
I know I can use inline fields to create an edge from anywhere in the note, but subsequently any view will reference the whole note, not the specific line where the edge was created.
Describe the solution you'd like
where an edge is created inline from a list item or task item, in subsequent views, insert the list item as text with a page link along side (page link should open page at the list item). For UX purposes I'd suggest a character limit on how much of the list item you actually display (in theory could get fancy and show the full text of the list item as a "tooltip" on hover. )
Note: If this was implemented I would NOT want the hierarchy to seperate list items from notes into seperate views. They should be mixed together as default IMO with options for users to only display either-or.
An alternative (not-as-good) solution
Link to the whole note but when user clicks on the note title from one of your views take them straight to the relevant section and highlight it
