This is for advertising the Signal K Server admin UI webapp to Navico plotters. SK shows up on Navico plotters/mfds as an icon that opens a web browser, but just recently people reported that the webpage does not load. We should probably add a separate setting for this, default to inactive and mark it as experimental. You can disable it by adding this section in your settings.json file:

Only just became aware of this "feature" from reading the discussion here. The icon appeared when i connected my Simrad to the wired ethernet switch this weekend.. alas it does nothing other than attempt to load something. Any ideas where this is broken? |

I think something changed in some recent software upgrade of the MFD software. |

Hi,
I've recently noticed that my RPI installation of SignalK is sending out a UDP packet on port 2053 every 10 seconds. This UDP port does not seem to have a recognised purpose. It looks to be some form of service announcement for Signal K webapps.
Does anyone know what these packets are and what their purpose is?
