Problems installing

To get this driver installed and running on Mint 18.3 one needs to do something like the following (and I thought it would be helpful for others to know this).

sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics
sudo apt remove xserver-xorg-input-libinput

Via git clone or downloading the zip, put the files in a folder.

Open terminal in the top level folder.

sudo apt install xutils-dev xorg-dev
autoreconf --install
