There is already an existing R package named calibrator:
https://github.com/RobinHankin/calibrator

which also has already an existing conda-forge package
https://github.com/conda-forge/r-calibrator-feedstock

my suggestion it is renaming SMG R package to climate4R-calibratoR or c4R-calibratoR
