Menus created not visible for other Salesforce Users #4
Comments
-- Resolved visibility issue -- Only this question is left: Are the menus limited to 40 items? What is the best practice if we have more than 40 items? |
From a query perspective, there's no limit on the number of items...so there "shouldn't" be one. |
Actually, the package ships with "20" in the picklist...but it's a picklist...you can add however many values you want. I think someone may have upped this in your org from 20 to 40, but you can up it again to whatever number you want. (I hadn't tested this with relatively higher numbers of items in menus, always assumed menus would be somewhat small, so not sure at what point it might break - please let me keep me posted on this as i'm interested in your use case with more menu items). |
Ah, I have overlooked that you can simply manage it through just more picklist values! Thanks very much for your help. |
No, not currently. The only time a menu item is expanded is when the page's url matches that menu item's url. |
okay thank you for response! |
Hi all,
we're facing the following issue:
My colleague created a Menu and the Menu is not visible for me, even if I log in as my colleague (Setup -> User -> Login as my colleague).
Can you please help me regarding this issue?
Furthermore I have another question: Are the menus limited to 40 items? What is the best practice if we have more than 40 items?
Thanks in advance & best regards!
