The quickest way to install Machinery on openSUSE is the one-click installer:
Alternatively you can install Machinery using zypper:

openSUSE 13.1:
# zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/systemsmanagement:/machinery/openSUSE_13.1/ machinery # zypper ref # zypper in machinery

Machinery is part of the module Advanced System Management
in SLES. Install it as follows:
- Start the SUSE Customer Center module:
2. Click `Select Extensions`.
3. Select `Advanced Systems Management Module 12`.
4. Proceed with `Next` and accept the package selections.
5. Review the summary and close the installation report with `Finish`.
