Data retrieval Sunny Tripower 8.0 SE

Hello,

I would like to retrieve the data from my Sunny Tripower 8.0 SE using SBFspot.
I am already using this tool with three other inverters, where it works perfectly (1x SB-4000TL, 1x SB1.5-TL, and 1x STP-12X).

I copied the configuration of the two Speedwire devices and changed the IP address. Then, I run the SBFspot command but receive an “empty” response.

I execute the following command:
/usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot -finq -q -cfgSBFspot_1.cfg

As a response, I get the following values:

Do I need to consider anything special when retrieving data from an SE inverter?

The -q parameter on the command line hides the output - except for the Grid Voltage Phase apparently. This is a bug and might influence 123solar if you are using this application.

Replace the -q with -v5 to see verbose output
/usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot -finq -v5 -cfgSBFspot_1.cfg

If I use the following Command: /usr/local/bin/sbfspot.3/SBFspot -finq -v5 -123s=DATA -cfgSBFspot_1.cfg
I can see any Data. Yes I am using 123solar. Is there a way to get the necessary Data for 123solar?

I need to come back to this topic once more. I believe the issue is actually not with 123solar. I took a closer look at the -d5 output and compared the inverter that is working with the one that is not. The only significant difference is that the function ExportSpotDataTo123s() is missing.

I also checked whether the inverter works in SunnyExplorer, and that was successful.

Do you have any ideas on how I can retrieve the data for 123solar?

I had a look at the code...
123solar export is only done for solar inverters. Your Sunny Tripower 8.0 SE is a battery inverter and ignored.
I'll try to fix this in the next release.
