Does anyone here use 2 controllers (DS4) to play? I have a problem with bluetooth adapter. #2296

here I use every now and then two ds4 gamepads with DS4Windows. Works just fine. Some people have reported testing and using even 4 gamepads at the same time. USB extension cable may sound like a placebo, but it has been reported to be working surprisingly often. After all PC chassis is a major source of radio storm and often located under a table and so on. USB extension cable takes the BT usb dongle further away from the radio storm and closer to gamepads. If the game you use doesn't need rumble/lightbar support then you may improve the BT throughput by disabling data output writes to gamepads (then PC and BT dongle just reads data from gamepads). Untick "Enable DS4 data output" option in DS4Window profile to test this theory. |

Another reason might be the dongle itself. I think I remember there being a comment somewhere specifically about CSR adapters not working well with ds4windows in some cases. I use a 'Lovin Products' CSR adapter myself (because Wally World decided it was a suitable replacement... ugh.... ) and I haven't seen any major issues until I try and hook it up to a super long usb extender cable. It actually works better NOT on the cable for me because it's so long. But I need the range sometimes. I've been able to hook 2 controllers and a set of headphones on at once with no issues, minus some slight delay from the length of the cable. |

I'm playing with my girlfriend and one of the controls randomly disconnects. The lightbar indicates high latency before this happens. I'm using a cheap CSR 4.0 adapter. Can anyone suggest me a good adapter? Or some solution?
I read somewhere that using a USB extender can solve performance issues with bluetooth adapters, but I'm not sure it's worth buying one.
