Multiple tabs have issues

If you have multiple tabs open:

• outgoing chat only shows up in the tab you type
• if you switch rooms the tab you didn't switch on stops receiving text (because the client doesn't know it's switched rooms but the server does?)

This causes a huge amount of issues for people when they think that the client is hung because they're on the wrong tab. It might be the thing that causes a bunch of the reports of dead chat.

Easiest fix is to simply kill all but one of the tabs.
