Ubuntu update - apparmor prevents mongo from starting

After this morning's system update (Ubuntu 18.04.04, VM running only the snap) rocket chat won't come up and I get this in the log:

seems like it might be related to #14562 but the workaround didn't seem to work all the way. Mongo starts fine, but rocketchat still won't come up.

switching to the 3.x track fixed it. YMMV
