Keyboard doesn't show when clicking search bar

On the latest release (2.17.2), the program loads successfully. However, when clicking the search bar, no keyboard shows up. I am able to click the icons, select a manga, and navigate in a chapter, but cannot search. I am using a Kobo Aura One with software version 4.34.20097.

Same on a Libra 2 v2.17.2 (though because of other Libra 2 issues, I don't know if this is a new problem or if it has never worked.)

I compiled the code on the master branch, and it fixed the keyboard bug on my device (Kobo Aura Edition 2). The compilation process was not straightforward though, so if you are not familiar with the build process and don't need to access MangaDex it would be easier to rollback to v2.16.0 (or if you do want to read manga from MangaDex, you can add them to your favorites using v2.16.0, then upgrade to v2.17.2 (your favorites list won't be affected by the update))

Since I didn't actually modify the source code, I think I am allowed to distribute the binary this way (the AGPL, which is the license for this project, permits the redistribution of binaries as long as the source code is also available). However, if I misinterpreted the license, Rain92 can let me know and I will gladly take down the ZIP file from my website.
