The QuantEcon Notes platform either needs to be retired or promoted

@jstac comment.

The same for notes -- I think we should promote it or delete it.

@jstac I think we should consider switching this service off. There is significant technical debt to update it and maintain it. It is also costing USD$50/month to host on EC2. Happy to keep hosting the software (if anyone wants to make use of the code base) but I think with some of the javascript renders with MyST compatibility coming down the pipeline it would need a re-write at some point.

  • We should host all the notebooks on a simple github repo and re-direct the url after shutdown.
