Hi!

Is there an option to import new sorting using Excel files?
I saw the copy to clipboard option which is helpful to paste it in Excel sheet and edit the sorting using AI. But it seem no option to paste back the new sorted channels in the excel file to the program.

Could you please consider adding this feature?

Thanks.

You can use "File / Save reference list..." and on the bottom select file type ".csv" (or ".txt").
Then you can reorder this file and later use "File / Apply order from a refrence list" to apply this order to the current channel list.

The "File / Export Excel list" option isn't meant to support a re-import.

I would also second that, somehow my TV cannot find all existing Channels, it would be fantastic to be able to manually add frequencies.

Unfortunately I will never be able to add support for adding channels because it is practically impossible.
ChanSorts supports probably hundred different TV formats and almost all of them require a massive amount of firmware specific data to set up a transponder and/or channel properly so the tuner can decode it. There is no way for me or the user to provide all the data, and even if that was possible, the file formats are undocumented and I wouldn't know how to write that to the file.

It may be doable for one particular TV model, but not for a hundret, especially since I don't own any of them.
