It keeps changing aspect ratio when I open it

When I open it, my aspect ratio gets changed to a smaller amount and then my aspect ratio goes back to normal and the game shrinks and then I have to reselect it only for the cycle to repeat again. so i cant play now :(

Make sure there's nothing in the launch options changing your resolution, anything with -w and -h would do that.
Make sure you also have the right aspect ratio in your video settings.
