How to Vote

1. Create an Account

  • Register on POTLOCK: All participants must create or log into their POTLOCK account. This is essential for accessing the voting platform.

2. Human Verification

  • Complete Human Verification: Before voting, users must undergo a human verification process through Nada.bot. This step is crucial as it allows users to receive a 10% weight for their votes. Follow the link below if you need more information.

3. Access the Voting Tab

  • Navigate to Votes Tab: Once verified human, go to the "Votes" tab on the pot details page. This section will display all eligible projects for voting.

4. Select Projects

  • Choose Projects to Vote For: Participants can select all the projects they wish to support based on their voting power. Then click vote all and sign transactions.

5. Monitor Weight Boosters

  • Check Weight Boosters: On the right side of the voting page, users can view their weight boosters. This feature shows how much additional weight will be automatically applied to their vote based on their governance participation and stNEAR staking. Your vote will be amplified by the total number of weight boosters you have acquired.

6. Cast Your Vote

  • Submit Votes: After making selections, cast your vote. Your vote's weight will be determined by the number of amplifiers such as human verification status, governance participation, and stNEAR staking amounts.

7. Follow Voting Results

  • Monitor Voting Phase: Keep track of updates and results during the voting phase, which runs from December 2 to December 26, 2024. Participants can view ongoing results on the POTLOCK platform.
