Bug description

When I rename a graph series and then click 'Save' or 'Save & add to dashboard', the new name is only saved maybe once in every 5-10 attempts. It is more likely to be saved when I just rename one series at a time, saving in between each, but even that only works sporadically.

Expected behavior

When I click 'Save', the name of the graph series should change.

How to reproduce

  1. Open this graph
  2. Edit the name of a graph series
  3. Click save
  4. Open the graph or dashboard again

Environment

  • PostHog Cloud
  • self-hosted PostHog (ClickHouse-based), version/commit: please provide
  • self-hosted PostHog (Postgres-based, legacy), version/commit: please provide

I believe this has been fixed with refactors of Insights that happened in the last month – can't reproduce. Does still occur for you @charlescook-ph?

This happens to me all the time. Also removing/adding legends. Also tweaks to the chart type.
