If you specify a PNG, GIF, JPG or similar as src of the iron-icon, a corresponding img tag is rendered in the DOM. SVG is also rendered using an img tag. Would be great if the iron-icon would place the svg tree from the SVG file in the DOM instead, thus allowing the user to apply fill and stroke.
