Some instructions for the telegram task ? #5451

Hi, I'm trying to set up the Telegram Task. I was under the assumption (probably incorrect) that the task would send notifications using the App api_hash (https://my.telegram.org/apps). And that as 'master' I would have to set the username TO which it would send these notifications.

But, apparently it works the other way around ? I * think * I should do the following :

  • create a new telegram user via telegram.org (or any client for that matter) for the bot
  • use that user's api_hash and set it in auth.json
  • use that user's name and set it as master in config.json

And then use my regular personal telegram account to send commands to the bot user ?

I'm probably completely wrong, and I thought I looked through all the readme files on this site, but I couldn't find clear instructions on how to use Telegram.

You'll notice I'm not using the feature or bug layout, but that's because this is just an open question. Hope someone still takes the time to help me out here.

Thanks !
