I'd recommend "pip install -r requirements.txt --upgrade"

@Ph4i1ur3 unless something has changed protobuf isn't installed with pip

I coulda swore protobuf was part of the pip installation...
Unless that's a different protobuf?

Edit- after a little testing I can confirm protobuf is installed by pip

Same error for me on a Ubuntu 16.04.

And I guess the problem is not because a library or package instalation missing or out of date.

I have a previous version of the bot in other folder that runs right. But the current 'dev' versións doesn't work and gives me the same error message.
