It's a legacy from engine. On week 1 almost all chests can be empty, after first game week there is re-initialization and items should appear

Oh yeah! As soon as you press F11 after any loading, January 1st comes!!! - everything is empty in the chests and the moneylender naturally does not receive profit from the deposit (I assume, at best, it will not appear until the date when you left the money with him) lol
