Thanks for the great project.

Have you considered changing the project to integrate with Label Studio? https://github.com/HumanSignal/label-studio-ml-backend

That way this project can focus on the pre-labeling and aggregation of the results. I would be willing to help if you are interested, just let me know.

Hi Rene @64knl,

Thanks for your suggestion. It would be great to have label studio integrated, but we would probably want to optimize it for camera trappers. I have integrated LabelImg for the human-in-the-loop verification. Here you can run a model and check its predictions by selecting classes with confidence ranges etc. Is this what you are referring to?

Hi Peter,

AFAIK LabelStudio has integrated all functionality of LabelImg (which itself has been discontinued). It allows for labeling video's as well.

I think it can be used to replace LabelImg. The model can pre-label the images with coordinates and probabilities. Then LabelStudio can run the human in the loop part of the process before handing it back off for the processing and export.

If you're open to integration I can do some further research on what is possible.

That sounds great! I wasn't very happy with the current method of labelImg anyway. It has been on my to do list forever to have a look at alternatives or fix it up.

If you could check what is possible in terms of LabelStudio, that would be great!
