So i know this isnt much of an issue with the program itself, but i just need some help. I did everything it told me to do in the beginning. I installed node.js and the lyric status files, so when i try typing nsm install into node, it says go to command prompt, so i do, and when i type it there. It says its unable to read the package. Im not really a coder and have never used command prompt in my life, so i have no idea how to fix this. and since this version just came out theres no tutorials or anything so i was hoping someone could help me.

Now I understand, thank you for screenshot.

You need to copy location where you downloaded LyricsStatus. To do this, open folder where LyricsStatus files are located, and copy the path (usually on top) in your Explorer.

Then type cd and paste the path that you copied (right click in console, then click Paste)

After that follow the guide.

If you got any questions feel free to ask.

Alright i finally figured it out. Also after testing it i actually found an issue. Songs that dont have synced lyrics just wont play, in v2 they would kinda just go through on a 5 second timer, not synced but better than nothing. But now they just dont show up at all

(also are netease lyrics supposed to be chinese)

Glad to hear that! Not synced lyrics are supposed to not show up, I temporarily removed this feature.

About chinese lyrics, lyrics by NetEase often has Chinese authors (or something like that) in the beginning, but I didn't see any English songs had all Chinese lyrics. Can you please send that song so I can investigate further? Thanks.

I actually figured it out, Some of the songs i listen too without lyrics arent even on Netease. Only realised after i started listening to "no role modelz" which has no lyrics on spotify and it started working in english. So i looked up the song on Netease and it was there. Then i looked up one of the less popular song that dosnt have lyrics, and it wasnt on Netease. So i dont know where Netease was getting the chinese lyrics¯_(ツ)_/¯. Now just curious, since some of the songs i listen too arent on Netease or spotify. Is it even possible to make somthing that allows you too locally import and possibly sync lyrics for songs that dont have any?

If Spotify didn't have lyrics, and now it does, I assume it's because I updated LyricsStatus and fixed a bug where lyrics from Spotify didn't appear, and you got the update. I think Spotify removed the Premium subscription requirement to get lyrics from it, because I was able to get full lyrics for songs when I tested things, that's good.

For lyrics importing - yes, it's possible, I had that on mind, but it's not priority for me right now. And for syncing lyrics - it's not possible programmatically, sadly.
