For documentation purposes (and maybe helping others) here is the issue i already posted on discord.

My setup:

Installation runs smoothly until the task "install MECM (this one take an eternity ~ 1 hour )" from where it did not continue for ~2-3 hours. After stopping the process nothing was installed. Also executing the command .\setup.exe /SCRIPT "C:\setup\ConfigMgrAutoSave.ini" in the setup directory resulted in the same behaviour - being idle for eternity (the process just kept running).

What solved my problem was to simply use the parameters in the ConfigMgrAutoSave.ini file and install&configure the MECM manually, took ~25mins. Still no idea why the script variant hangs indefinitely though.

Related issue: #220

Update:
Removed the whole Lab, tried again and executed the installation command manually on the host. Watched the logs populated to C:\ConfigMgrSetup.log and it somehow installed it flawlessly... No idea what happened last time...

Took about 30-40mins

Deleted the VMs and rebuild the lab again and again and suddenly everything is working. 180mins later the Lab was set up. No idea what happened, i guess just bad luck. Closing for now
