In the Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (PfDHODH) inhibitor part of the Modes of action section the following statement is made:
The P. falciparum D10 strain (chloroquine sensitive) has been known to be less susceptible to bc1 complex inhibitors and PfDHODH inhibitors.
The D10 strain isn't inherently less susceptible to bc1 and DHODH inhibitors. The wild type strain is sensitive. The stain this statement was referring to was transfected with yeast DHODH which is why it is resistant (work done by Phillips et al.).
