Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Follow the guide to build it on linux
2. decide to dynamically link (cause the static link guide mentions a ./configure script in protobuf that doesnt exist)
3. run the make comand in the build directory
4. It fails with a huge message

Additional context

It says something about protobuf needing cpp14 but i have cpp14 installed
