Someone added this map style to "Proposed layers" in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Featured_tile_layers

Are you interested in being a new map style featured on the OSM main site? AFAIK this map style fulfills criteria mentioned at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Featured_tile_layers/Guidelines_for_new_tile_layers and it could be interesting expansion of map styles already available (though it would require extra technical handling as it is an overlay)

If you are not interested and that addition to wiki was done without consultations - then sorry for bothering you and I will remove this entry from OSM Wiki (I wanted to ask before removing it)

If you are interested and you have hosting available to sponsor this deployment - also please let me know so I can update OSM Wiki

@Nautic Should I remove this from wiki? Or is there someone willing to sponsor deployment on openstreetmap.org and handle server upkeep?

I would vote for adding seamark-overlay !

To my experiance,

  • service is quite robust and reliable [1]
  • daily updates [2]
  • all OSM [3]
