Join & Communicate

Join

The Joint Roadmap community welcomes participation from organizations and individuals committed to advancing open tools for science and their ecosystem. Formally participating organizations are not-for-profit organizations, institutions, projects, or communities that develop and steward open-source science tools and their ecosystem. Individuals participating formally are typically scholars, technologists, or other practitioners with deep commitments to open science. Visit our repository for instructions on how you and/or your project/organization can join the Joint Roadmap's formal participants.

Communicate

Twitter

The Joint Roadmap community communicates on Twitter as a way to have public, persistent communication that's easy to use.

Slack

Our community connects informally in a Slack workspace. Email [email protected] with a brief explanation of how you are engaged in open science and/or open science tools to join.

Email

Subscribe to the Joint Roadmap Google Group to receive and post emails to the community.

Meetings

The Joint Roadmap community meets together virtually and in-person when needed. Subscribe to learn about upcoming meetings and review materials from past meetings.

Code of Conduct

We ask Joint Roadmap community members and participants to follow our code of conduct adopted originally for our participation in the Mozilla Global Sprint 2018.
