Charging restarts in Eco Mode after reaching charge limit

I'd like to be able to stop my Leaf charging at 80% on Eco mode. Since Nissan removed this option I now have to make a best guess at how many kWh will take the car to 80% and set this in the charge limit. The charging does indeed stop after reaching the charge limit. However, if there's sufficient excess power then charging immediately starts again in Eco Mode.

Could it switch to standard mode automatically after reaching the charge limit to prevent this?
