i using engine make simple conway life game , drawstring method the will cover backgroud content, and can't translucency layer as though as if ,as

There is a PGEX that was created by OLC Community Member gorbit99 that lets you load custom TTF fonts into your program. You can check that out here: https://github.com/gorbit99/olcPGEX_TTF

If you wanted to use a font sprite and just load it into the PGE, you can use a slightly modified version of it to overwrite the current font with any font you want instead.
