The .NET CLI is adding tools that may save symbol files. It would be good if all of the .NET debugging related tools used the same default symbol cache. This issue tracks changing the default in the C# extension/vsdbg on Linux.

New default on non-Windows should be: $HOME/.dotnet/symbolcache
