This is a request for a usability enhancement.

Here is the scenario: We have several source concepts, like lab test components, that are similar but appear in our master file several times because they are components of different lab panels. In these cases, we load the source lab concepts into Usagi, then sort the top pane by source term to get these similar concepts to appear together. For example: all of our aspertate aminotransferase source terms start with "AST".

Usagi's default suggestion for a LOINC concept was poor, so we performed a search in the bottom search pane. After selecting the proper LOINC concept, we want to apply it to the group of "AST" source concepts. Currently, Usagi does not "remember" which search-result concept was selected when we navigate from one source concept to the next.

I understand that the results from the "Use source term" search option could differ from one source concept record to the next. But for a given search "Query", the results do stay in the search results pane. Could Usagi remember which row was previously selected until a new search is performed?

Every little efficiency gain adds up when you're mapping thousands of concepts.

Since version 1.4, it is possible to add/replace concept for multiple source codes at a time. In your case, select all the rows starting with 'AST', select the target concept in the search panel, and press 'Replace concept'.

Does that help?

Same for approving, select your codes you want to bulk-approve, select equivalence and press approve.
