Related Problem

When searching for packages and sorting by relevance or downloads, unmaintained / deprecated packages that used to be popular are often shown.

And sorting by last updated date shows too many new, untested packages.

The Elevator Pitch

Ability to show only packages that were last updated in x past year(s), to filter out unmaintained / deprecated packages.

I would like to point out that filtering by time would allow to filter out packages that haven't been updated in a long time, but are not marked as deprecated.
