No way to stop an futures cancellation from bubbling down to dependent futures #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a future
2. Create an action that is dependent on the future
3. Cancel the future

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

There should be a way to prevent the action from canceling also.

There's not


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Why are the dependencies private to FutureAction?  It would be nice to extend 
FutureAction and have access to them.
