I try to connect to my HBase (on VCD technically) and I get error: "Failed to connect to hbase. Make sure you have access.... bla bla".

I do have access to HBase - I run status.sh, i tried start-all.sh and it all seems to be fine (I can even connect to datamanagement and get schemas :-) )

I tried to see the logs of h-rider, but there is no error there which can halp me resolve the problem.
is it possible to add logs to the log file?
capture

thanks!!

Hello,

I have exactly the same issue:

2016-06-15 16:00:24,980 INFO [AWT-EventQueue-1] RunnableAction : Action 'compare-versions' started.
2016-06-15 16:00:25,737 INFO [compare-versions] RunnableAction : Action 'compare-versions' completed.
2016-06-15 16:00:32,730 INFO [AWT-EventQueue-1] RunnableAction : Action 'hdfs-master1.service.domain.com' started.
2016-06-15 16:00:32,987 INFO [hdfs-master1.service.domain.com] RunnableAction : Action 'hdfs-master1.service.domain.com' failed.

I can confirm HBase is running fine. Zookeeper client shows stuff inside /hbase so I'm pretty sure the failure comes from hrider itself...

I'm available for a debugging session if interested.

Best regards, Adam.
