Hi,

I'm not sure whether you can connect to 096.2. It mostly depends if there were API changes or not.
You can try. In case you can't connect you will need to compile hrider with 096.2 version of hbase.

CDGit, what do you mean by saying you cannot download h-rider? which link doesn't work?
