I tried to apply this patch running on top of yi-hack-v3 and firmware version 2.1.0.0C_201710091352.
It seems the kernel modules cannot be loaded:

./load3518e -i
mmz_start: 0x81600000, mmz_size: 10M
insmod: can't insert 'hi3518e_sys.ko': Operation not permitted
insmod: can't insert 'hi3518e_tde.ko': Operation not permitted
insmod: can't insert 'hi3518e_region.ko': unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter
Segmentation fault

This is the kernel version of this firmware version:

Linux version 3.4.35 (chenshibo@ANTS-SH-SV02) (gcc version 4.8.3 20131202 (prerelease) (Hisilicon_v300) ) #22 Mon Nov 28 15:39:11 CST 2016

Anything that could be done to fix this would be much appreciated.
