Missing items from the software checklist.

  1. CONTRIBUTING.MD is missing, should contain contributions guidelines , with advice on a branching model. Here is an example.
  2. For every release after the first release, CHANGELOG.md should contain the notable changes made.
  3. One command install?
  4. Make an explicit citation request by adding the following sentence to the README file: "Please cite the software with its DOI if you are using it in your scientific publication." Here is an example.
  5. Dependencies tracking? (Assuming a one-command install)
  6. Development setup (docker), depending on how complicated the installation is - on a first glance it seems simple.
